We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both at work and beyond, including:\nCompetitive compensation based on experience\n5% annual bonus opportunity\nMedical, dental and vision benefits\n401(k) with company match\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nCompany-paid holidays\nCareer growth and development opportunities\nAnd more!\n\nWhat You'll Do\nPurchase raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and services to support production needs\nReview material requirements and utilize MRP to plan purchasing activities\nNegotiate and manage vendor costs while meeting site requirements\nBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring cost, quality and service\nPlace purchase orders and coordinate delivery schedules\nMonitor inventory levels, lead times and supplier capacity\nExpedite or delay deliveries as customer and production needs change\nMaintain accurate material information and purchasing data in SAP\nPartner with Quality, Production, Finance, Inventory Control and suppliers to resolve material and purchasing issues\nReview and approve purchasing documentation and invoices\nHelp manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory\nSupport continuous improvement of purchasing processes and workflows\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3+ years of experience in a Buyer/Purchasing role\nBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered\nManufacturing experience strongly preferred\nExperience with SAP/ERP systems and MRP\nStrong negotiation, problem-solving and organizational skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments\nAPICS or C.P.I.M. certification is a plus\n\nThe Environment\nThis is an onsite role based at our Groveport manufacturing facility.
