We are currently seeking to recruit a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Mechanicto join our dynamic, growing team based in Kearys Hyundai, Limerick Road, Mallow.\nLooking to move your career into next gear? Apply today to be a part of our success story.\nRole Responsibilities:\nCarry out work provided competently and within the times laid down by the Flat Rate Manual, or to time acceptable by Foreman if hourly work, or factory times not available.\nEnsure that times are recorded as requested by management.\nAttend internal and external training courses, as directed by management.\nKeep the place of work tidy and in a clean condition.\nAdvise the Workshop Foreman or Service Adviser of any additional work necessary on a car during a service.\nEnsure parts of Warranty Claims are retained and are cleaned out and drained of oil, where necessary.\nEnsure exchange parts are returned to Parts Department when required.\nBe prepared to work overtime, with reasonable notice, if requested by the management.\nEnsure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken of that vehicle on the premises for repair or service.\nMaintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance of vehicles.\nMake full use of Special Tools, Service Test, Service Equipment and training as provided to improve customer service levels and workshop efficiency.\nMaintain thorough and current Product Knowledge and read all Service Information and Service News bulletins as supplied by Service Management.\nRole Requirements:\nPrior experience in a similar role.\nCurrently working towards becoming a qualified automotive technician.\nAbility to work as part of a team and on own initiative.\nFull, clean driving licence.\nExcellent communication
