The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the stack-from React-based user interfaces to Python backend services-and has experience building reliable, long-running workflows using tools like Temporal.io. You will play a key role in shaping scalable, resilient systems used daily by healthcare teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nFull-Stack Application Development\nDesign and develop user-facing applications using React and modern front-end tooling.\nBuild and maintain backend services using Python, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.\nImplement APIs and service integrations that support complex healthcare workflows.Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.\n\nWorkflow Orchestration & Backend Systems\nDesign and implement durable, fault-tolerant workflows using Temporal.io.\nModel and manage long-running, stateful healthcare processes (e.g., care gaps, quality measures, documentation workflows).\nEnsure system resilience, observability, and graceful failure handling in distributed systems.\nOptimize backend services for performance and cost efficiency.\nHealthcare Platform Development\nWork with healthcare data and workflows while adhering to security and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).\nIntegrate with healthcare standards and systems such as FHIR and interoperability APIs.\nPartner with clinical and operations stakeholders to translate real-world workflows into robust technical solutions.\nDevOps & Production Readiness\nContribute to production-ready systems with strong testing, monitoring, and deployment practices.\nCollaborate on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure supporting cloud-based deployments.\nDebug and resolve issues across the stack in production environments.\nCollaboration and Impact\nWork cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, designers, and clinicians.\nCommunicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nTake ownership of features from concept through production and iteration.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong experience building full-stack applications with Python on the backend and React on the frontend.\nExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIs (or GraphQL).\nFamiliarity with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.\nSolid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.\nPreferred Skills\nHands-on experience with Temporal.io or similar workflow orchestration systems.\nExperience working in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA familiarity a plus).\nKnowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR or HL7.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).\nFamiliarity with containerization and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).\nWhen applying\nIn addition to your resume, also include:\nA highly personalized, bold, and hilarious “Keebler Health-style” introduction that grabs attention - outgoing, fun, and uniquely you (not uniquely ChatGPT).
