Keeley is a career destination with countless opportunities for advancement, and a world-class family culture that is centered around creating the best possible environment for our people to thrive.\nKeeley Construction is looking to hire a Senior Accountant in St. Louis, MO.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPrepare, review, and maintain monthly balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.\nEnsure reconciliations are complete, accurate, properly supported, and resolved timely.\nPrepare and post monthly and ad-hoc journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and adjustments, and review selected journal entries prepared by junior accounting staff.\nAssist the Assistant Controller and Controller with the monthly close process.\nOwn assigned components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including variance analysis, financial statement support, and resolution of accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP.\nSupport construction accounting activities, including:\nJob cost review and analysis\nWIP schedules\nCost allocations and project close-out support\nAssist with internal and external audits, providing schedules, support, and explanations as needed.\nIdentify and help implement process improvements related to reconciliations, close, and documentation.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 3-4 years of accounting experience required.\nStrong understanding of: U.S. GAAP and fundamental financial reporting principles, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes required.\nAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) required.\nCPA or CMA certification preferred.\nExperience with construction accounting concepts such as job costing and WIP preferred.\nExperience with CMiC construction ERP system (or similar construction ERP platforms) preferred.\nExperience supporting multi-entity or multi-company environments preferred.\nAudit experience (public accounting or internal audit) preferred.\n#LI-AG1 #LI-Onsite\nAll Keeley Brands (Keeley Construction Group, Keeley Properties, Keeley Restoration, Keeley Companies) do not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms, headhunters, or agencies.
