The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible formanaging and processing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and improving payroll systems and procedures. \nPrimary Responsibilities\nProvide guidance and assistance to other members of the team and serve as back-up support. \nLead the processing of weekly certified payroll on all customer requested forms and standard forms as requested. \nCollective bargaining monthly reporting. \nManages the internal and external audit requests pertaining to payroll. \nMaintains all collective bargaining agreements, wage rates, benefit rates, and employee clear-ins. \nMaintain accurate employee records. \nMaintain company level tables for local union records, home local records, and fringe and wage tables. \nCalculate and prepare layoff / termination checks. \nReview, analyze & correct ongoing employee tax & benefits for year-end reporting \nResponsible for all reconciliations related to union fringes and deductions. \nCompile complex reports as required by management, union, and government agencies regarding employee payroll issues. \nMinimum Qualifications\nMinimum of 7 years of direct payroll experience. \nConstruction multi-state and multi-union payroll experience required. \nCommunicate effectively both orally and through writing and work cooperatively in a fast paced, diverse team environment. \nUnderstanding of multi-state tax regulations \nExperience with CMIC payroll \nKnowledge of various certified payroll reporting systems (LCP Tracker, PWC, IDOL) \nFamiliarity of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within accounting field. \nExperience with UKG is beneficial \nAll candidates agree to complete an assessment for selection and pre-employment drug screen.\nEOE/AA M/F/Disabled/Vet\nAll Keeley Brands (Keeley Construction Group, Keeley Properties, Keeley Restoration, Keeley Companies) do not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms, headhunters, or agencies.
