Job Summary

The Global Logistics Coordinator provides tactical execution across freight audit, contract rate validation, cost coding exceptions, carrier onboarding, provider coordination, procurement operations and Global Logistics department coordination. This is a Global Logistics freight audit and exception management role that strengthens controls, improves the TRAX operating cadence and creates scalable capacity as KEEN grows. The Coordinator owns routine logistics audit execution, documentation, follow-up and visibility.

Essential Functions

Description

  • Works within TRAX and related systems to audit carrier invoices against agreed freight rates, shipment events, accessorial terms, and supporting logistics documentation.
  • Manages routine audit and cost-coding exceptions, maintain clear audit records, carrier onboarding and identify aging or recurring issues for escalation.
  • Coordinates payment-status inquiries with carriers, freight providers and KEEN Accounts Payable after logistics validation; maintain a visible log of aging items and material risks.
  • Supports regional TRAX reporting and follow-up for the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan; identify adoption, data-quality and service- performance gaps for escalation.
  • Prepares standard reports, scorecards, QBR support, RFP/RFI trackers and provider action logs.
  • Maintains clear SharePoint records, approved department goals, meeting materials, decision records, action tracking and operating calendars.
  • Documents repeatable standard work and support cross-training to reduce key-person dependency and protect continuity during business growth.
  • Escalates exceptions outside defined tolerance, recurring provider failures, payment risk, control gaps and issues requiring commercial or policy decisions

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field required; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Minimum one (1) to two (2) years experience in logistics, freight audit, transportation finance, procurement operations or accounts-payable coordination preferred.

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Strong attention to detail, ownership of follow-through, and comfort managing multiple deadlines and stakeholder requests.
  • Proficiency in Excel and collaboration/document-management tools; experience with freight audit, transportation or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to distinguish routine work from issues requiring escalation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word and Outlook preferred.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills and statistical knowledge.
  • Basic analytical skills and ability.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and InforNexus preferred.
  • Proficient problem solving and planning skills.
  • Transportation management system (TMS) knowledge preferred.

Travel - Yes, up to 10% of the time.

Base Salary: $24.80 - $26.15 per hour

The salary range posted for this position represents the anticipated hiring range for this role. Offers are made within this range based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations. This is the hiring range for the position; compensation above the posted maximum is not typically available at the time of hire.

Work Location:  Hybrid

This role is based in the Portland, OR area and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Portland office and generally work on-site four days per week, with flexibility based on business and team needs.
