You will play a key role in bridging optics, ISP, AI-based image enhancement, and image quality optimization, ensuring the delivery of world-class imaging solutions.\nThis position combines system architecture, algorithm integration, technical coaching, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with imaging engineers, optical module teams, silicon vendors, and external suppliers to bring innovative imaging technologies into production.\nKey Responsibilities\nSystem Architecture & Design\nCharacterize and evaluate ISP capabilities, limitations, and performance.\nProvide technical guidance on the architecture and evolution of the imaging software stack built on top of third-party SDKs.\nDevelop and maintain technical architecture documents, design specifications, and implementation guidelines.\nDrive technical decision-making for imaging system development.\nPrototyping & Innovation\nDevelop rapid prototypes, scripts, test frameworks, and validation pipelines to assess new imaging concepts.\nEvaluate emerging imaging technologies and AI-driven enhancements.\nTranslate innovative concepts into practical engineering solutions.\nIntegration & Performance Optimization\nLead the integration and customization of vendor-provided camera SDKs and imaging frameworks.\nDrive low-level software integration activities, including sensor bring-up, ISP feature enablement, camera control loops, and performance optimization.\nLead the integration of classical ISP algorithms, AI-based image enhancement solutions, and post-processing functions into a unified real-time imaging pipeline.\nIdentify and resolve complex image quality, system integration, and performance bottlenecks.\nEnsure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of imaging solutions.\nTechnical Reviews & Engineering Excellence\nConduct design reviews, architecture reviews, and code (PR) reviews.\nSupport engineers through hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and pair programming.\nDrive software engineering best practices and technical quality standards.\nCoaching & Technical Leadership\nMentor and coach imaging engineers to accelerate their technical growth.\nOrganize technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.\nFoster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nServe as the technical link between optical module teams and imaging software teams.\nAlign requirements, technical solutions, and development priorities across disciplines.\nCollaborate closely with product management, hardware teams, and system architects.\nSupplier & Partner Management\nLead technical discussions with external suppliers and technology partners.\nDrive issue resolution, technical alignment, and successful integration of supplier technologies.\nEvaluate supplier roadmaps and technical capabilities.\n Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.\n8+ years of experience in imaging systems, ISP development, image processing.\nStrong understanding of camera imaging pipelines, image quality tuning, and ISP architectures.\nExperience integrating image processing algorithms into embedded or real-time systems.\nProficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for prototyping and algorithm development.\nExperience with technical leadership, architecture design, and mentoring engineering teams.\nExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills.\nPreferred\nExperience with AI/ML-based image enhancement techniques.\nKnowledge of camera sensors, optics, and optical characterization.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for embedded systems.\nExperience working with external technology suppliers and partners.\n We offer a competitive package to
