The role is accountable for delivering high performing process and utility equipment, ensuring a best-in-class compliant facility to meet the stringent demands of modern production facility. In the role you will lead, guide and develop teams across Maintenance, Capital Project Engineering, Sustainability, Site Security, Automation and Utilities.\nJob Description\nRole responsibilities:\n\nDelivery of the required Safety, Environmental, Quality and Financial performance of the Engineering Department.\nPartnering with the Site Leadership Team, ensure that the Site meets its Safety, Environmental, Quality, Customer Service and Financial goals through the effective management of plant resources.\nLead high performing cross-functional and/or matrix teams, creating a positive employee engagement culture aligned to Keenova values. Accelerate the development of key talent. Build relationships across the organization.\nContribute to the safety of our employees through provision of a safe workplace and showing leadership\nEnsure qualification status of all equipment is maintained and facilitate optimise equipment design and set-up from an GMP Persepctive\nDrive top-tier equipment reliability through the Maintenance Program.\nDeliver the approved Capital Investment plan, including all aspects of planning and execution. Ensure delivery of Engineering projects on time and within budget; Ensure alignment of Site Leadership Team on priority projects which deliver site and enterprise strategic imperatives.\nDevelop annual capital Plans to support any investments required to maintain or increase capacity and capability.\nLead the Business Continuity Plan for the site.\nOversee Site Automation, Digital Manufacturing, and Data Systems, ensuring adoption of modern industry best practices and supporting the site's digital transformation strategy.\nSupport the Development and execution the site Environmental Sustainability Plan\nLead the provision of Site Security services.\nEnsure maintenance and upkeep of site buildings, internal and external.\nLead the site Asset Management and Reliability Strategy to maximize equipment uptime, performance, and lifecycle value.\nEnsure engineering systems remain inspection-ready and compliant with all applicable GMP, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nEnsure contractor compliance with all relevant legislative and company requirements/procedures.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience required:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Masters an advantage)\n10+ years of Engineering and/ or Operations experience (Large Molecule, Small Molecule, Biologics, Parenteral, API, Drug Product, Finishing/Packaging)\nDemonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring of diverse teams\nExcellence in cGMP and regulatory environments relating to the regulated healthcare industry, project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting the predefined quality requirements\nAt Keenova, we believe that no one should be alone in their pursuit of better health.
