This role will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable data platforms that enable analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven business solutions.\nThe ideal candidate combines expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, data technologies, security, automation, and Databricks administration. Experience with Databricks AI capabilities, including Generative AI, Vector Search, MLflow, and Mosaic AI, is highly desirable.\nKey Responsibilities\nDatabricks Platform Engineering:\nDesign and deploy Databricks workspaces, clusters, and platform components in Azure and/or AWS;\nBuild and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available Databricks environments;\nEstablish platform standards, architecture patterns, and operational best practices;\nConfigure and manage Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and workspace governance frameworks;\nImplement platform lifecycle management, upgrades, and capacity planning.\nCloud Infrastructure & Automation:\nProvision infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform;\nAutomate platform deployments and configuration management;\nDesign networking, private connectivity, and secure integration patterns;\nImplement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions;\nOptimize cloud resource utilization and manage platform costs.\nSecurity & Governance:\nImplement enterprise security controls and compliance requirements;\nConfigure role-based access controls and least-privilege access models;\nManage secrets, key vault integrations, and encryption standards;\nEstablish monitoring, audit logging, and governance controls;\nSupport regulatory and security audits.\nPlatform Operations & Reliability:\nMonitor platform health, availability, and performance;\nDevelop observability solutions for infrastructure and data workloads;\nTroubleshoot platform, networking, and workload issues;\nCreate operational runbooks and support processes;\nLead root-cause analysis and remediation efforts.\nCollaboration & Technical Leadership:\nPartner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and Cloud Infrastructure teams;\nProvide technical guidance on platform architecture and operational excellence;\nDevelop engineering standards and reusable automation patterns;\nMentor engineers and promote cloud engineering best practices.\nAI & Advanced Analytics Support (Preferred)\nSupport Databricks AI and machine learning environments;\nEnable MLflow experimentation, model tracking, and deployment capabilities;\nSupport Mosaic AI, Vector Search, Feature Store, and RAG architectures;\nAssist teams implementing Generative AI and Large Language Model solutions;\nDevelop infrastructure and governance frameworks supporting AI workloads;\nEvaluate new Databricks AI capabilities and recommend adoption strategies.\nRequisitos e qualificações\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience:\n5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering;\n3+ years of hands-on experience deploying and administering Databricks environments;\nExperience supporting enterprise cloud platforms in Azure and/or
