You will work across frontend, backend, client, browser and security platforms to establish scalable technical patterns, resolve complex cross-product architectural challenges and guide teams through major design decisions.\nThis is not a purely advisory role. You will remain hands-on with architecture, prototyping, code reviews and technical problem solving while partnering with Engineering, Product and Security leadership to ensure Keeper’s systems remain secure, performant and maintainable as the platform grows. The ideal candidate has broad full-stack architecture experience, deep software engineering fundamentals and the ability to move comfortably across product domains, technologies and operating environments.\nResponsibilities:\nDefine and drive architecture across multiple Keeper product areas, including PAM, Browser Extension and other core security platforms\nEstablish scalable architectural patterns and technical standards across frontend, backend, client and distributed systems\nLead architecture reviews and major technical design decisions for complex cross-product initiatives\nPartner with Engineering leadership and product teams to translate business and product requirements into scalable technical designs\nEvaluate trade-offs across centralized and distributed architectures, monoliths and microservices, synchronous and asynchronous systems and cloud-native deployment models\nDesign systems with strong consideration for security, reliability, performance, extensibility and maintainability\nGuide architecture for APIs, services, authentication, authorization, data flows and integration patterns across product teams\nProvide technical leadership for high-scale SaaS systems and security-sensitive workflows\nSupport architecture across browser-based, desktop, endpoint and platform components where applicable\nIdentify architectural risks, technical debt and scalability constraints and drive pragmatic remediation strategies\nBuild prototypes or reference implementations to validate architectural approaches and de-risk major initiatives\nReview critical code and design changes and provide technical guidance to senior and staff-level engineers\nPartner with Security teams on secure architecture, threat modeling and protection of sensitive data and credentials\nEstablish standards for observability, reliability, testing and operational readiness across distributed systems\nMentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across multiple engineering teams\nEvaluate new technologies, frameworks and architectural approaches that can improve platform capabilities and developer productivity\nUse AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms to accelerate technical research, prototyping, coding, debugging and documentation\nRequirements\n10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant software architecture or technical leadership responsibilities\nProven experience architecting and delivering large-scale production software across multiple product or platform areas\nStrong full-stack technical background across frontend, backend, APIs and distributed systems\nExperience designing highly available, scalable and secure SaaS architectures\nStrong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented and modular design principles and architectural trade-offs\nExperience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture and cloud-native application design\nStrong understanding of authentication, authorization, identity, access control and secure application architecture\nExperience designing and integrating APIs, shared services and cross-product platform capabilities\nStrong knowledge of relational and non-relational database architecture, data modeling and performance considerations\nExperience with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment environments such as AWS, containers and Kubernetes\nStrong understanding of application performance, profiling, debugging and reliability engineering\nExperience evaluating architectural trade-offs involving scalability, resiliency, maintainability and developer velocity\nProven ability to work
