You will help define the standards, tooling, and practices that engineering teams across the company use to build and deliver software.\nExperience designing CI/CD solutions for multiple teams and working effectively with the engineers who use them is essential for this role.\nYou will:\nBuild reusable GitLab CI/CD components and pipelines used across engineering teams.\n\nBuild and operate highly available platform services and engineering infrastructure, including AWX, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform-based infrastructure, and other services depended on by engineering teams. Our infrastructure spans Proxmox and Kubernetes.\n\nCreate clear, durable documentation that helps engineers understand how our platform works, why decisions were made, and how to use it effectively.\n\nOperate the runner infrastructure used to build, test, and deploy our software, keeping it reliable, efficient, and secure.\n\nBuild automated tests and validation that allow us to upgrade and change the platform with confidence.\n\nAbout you\nMust-haves:\nStrong Linux fundamentals, particularly with Debian-based systems and APT.\n\nDeep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience designing and maintaining pipelines; GitLab CI/CD experience is preferred.\n\nHands-on experience with several of the technologies we use, including containers, Bash, Ansible, Kubernetes, and observability stacks such as LGTM.\n\nExperience designing tooling, pipelines, or infrastructure used by multiple engineering teams.\n\nExperience operating and evolving production systems, with the engineering judgment that comes from learning what works and what doesn't.\n\nExcellent communication skills in English.\n\nYou work carefully and conscientiously, particularly when making changes to systems that other engineers depend on.\n\nNice-to-haves:\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, DHCP, and firewalling.\n\nExperience using AI-assisted engineering tools effectively, particularly for development, operations, documentation, or knowledge sharing.\n\nA passion for creating a great developer experience.\n\nPersonal projects, open-source contributions, homelabs, or other evidence of technical curiosity outside your primary responsibilities.\n\nAbout us\nOur platform provides customers with an immutable, historical archive of their data in systems such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Entra ID, Dynamics 365, and Zendesk.
