This position will serve as a senior-level construction management representative responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and supporting successful project delivery on behalf of the Owner.\nThe Senior Construction Manager will provide leadership throughout the construction phase, coordinating with SFWMD representatives, contractors, consultants, inspectors, permitting agencies, and project stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of water resources infrastructure, public agency construction processes, contract administration, and construction management best practices.\nThe ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing complex public infrastructure projects and a working knowledge of SFWMD procedures, standards, and expectations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nServe as a senior construction management representative providing oversight and guidance for SFWMD projects.\nAct as a primary point of contact between KEITH, SFWMD, contractors, design consultants, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.\nMonitor contractor progress to ensure compliance with contract documents, approved plans, specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.\nProvide leadership in managing construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.\nReview and evaluate contractor schedules, progress reports, pay applications, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and claims.\nIdentify potential project risks, schedule impacts, and cost concerns; develop recommendations and mitigation strategies.\nLead construction progress meetings and coordinate resolution of project issues.\nMonitor contractor adherence to quality control requirements, environmental commitments, permitting requirements, and regulatory standards.\nCoordinate with SFWMD project representatives to ensure alignment with District objectives and procedures.\nReview field observations, inspection reports, testing documentation, and construction records.\nProvide oversight of Resident Project Representatives, inspectors, and field personnel as applicable.\nSupport resolution of technical issues between contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.\nReview project documentation for completeness and compliance with contract requirements.\nAssist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, record drawings, warranties, and turnover documentation.\nPrepare executive-level project status reports addressing schedule, cost, quality, risks, and project performance.\nMaintain professional relationships with public agencies, contractors, consultants, and community stakeholders.\n Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 10 years of progressive construction management experience.\nExperience managing large-scale water resources, drainage, flood control, environmental, civil infrastructure, or public works projects.\nDemonstrated experience serving as a Construction Manager, Owner's Representative, Resident Engineer, or Senior Project Manager.\nExperience working with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) or similar public agencies strongly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of construction contract administration, scheduling, cost management, and quality assurance practices.\nExperience reviewing contractor schedules, pay applications, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and claims.\nAbility to interpret engineering plans, specifications, contract documents, and technical reports.\nStrong understanding of construction safety requirements and regulatory compliance.\nProficiency with construction management and project controls software, including Microsoft Office Suite, E-Builder, Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SFWMD Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), water control structures, canals, stormwater management systems, pump stations, flood protection, or related infrastructure\nExperience managing projects involving environmental permits, regulatory coordination, and agency approvals.\nFamiliarity with SFWMD technical specifications, construction standards, and inspection requirements.\nExperience working with municipalities, state agencies, and other public-sector owners.\nWhy Join KEITH?Collaborative and growth-focused work environment.\nOpportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects.\nCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.\nProfessional development and continuing education support\n We offer competitive benefits, including:100% PAID Medical, Dental, and Vision\nEmployer matched 401K -
