The role involves working closely with development and cross-functional teams, planning and executing tests, identifying issues, and continuously improving our testing processes.\nResponsibilities\nPerform manual QA testing of operational systems and identify, document, and track bugs.\nConduct user and UX testing, providing feedback from an operational end-user perspective.\nPerform ITP/ATP testing as part of system integration and delivery.\nTest and validate hardware-software integrations, including radars, cameras, and other components.\nHandle system configurations, IP addresses, and integration troubleshooting.\nWork closely with Software, Hardware, DevOps, and TechOps teams.\nSupport system experiments, integrations, and continuous QA process improvements.\nRequirements\n At least 3 years of experience in software testing (QA).\nExperience in planning, writing, and executing testing processes.\nExperience in writing test and specification documents, including SRS, STP, and ATP.\nExperience in documenting issues, opening bugs, tracking them to closure, and performing Regression testing.\nUnderstanding and experience in communication and computer networks.\nAbility to analyze issues and understand end-to-end system processes.\nAbility to work independently, take responsibility, and lead tasks.\nHigh self-learning ability and quick adoption of new systems and technologies.\nAbility to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.\nOrderliness, thoroughness, accuracy, and attention to detail.\nAbility to work and collaborate with development, integration, system teams, and other parties in the organization.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in testing security / military systems.\nExperience in testing systems that integrate software and hardware (HW/SW).\nExperience in integration testing and complex systems.\nExperience working in a Linux environment.\nFamiliarity with communication protocols and network testing tools.\nExperience working with bug and task management tools such as Jira or similar systems.\nFamiliarity with Embedded systems, cameras, sensors, or communication equipment - an advantage.\nExperience working with field systems and performing system experiments / tests - an advantage.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2631,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-27T19:26:07Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-09-29T12:46:30Z"}],"liveness":null,"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/kela-qa-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/kela-qa-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T00:16:56Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":360,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4640,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
