Learning and Store Development Manager #0204GN

We are recruiting for a rapidly developing specialty footwear and leather goods company seeking a Learning and Store Development Manager. The business operates premium retail stores featuring handcrafted boots, leather accessories, belts, bags, and other high-quality products from established and emerging makers.

This position will build training programs that help store employees deliver knowledgeable and personalized customer service. The successful candidate will support new store openings while strengthening product knowledge, sales capability, and leadership development across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop training programs for store employees and managers.
• Lead onboarding initiatives for new retail team members.
• Create product knowledge and customer service training materials.
• Support training requirements for new store openings.
• Coach managers on employee development and performance improvement.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify development needs.
• Maintain consistent service expectations throughout the store network.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail training, learning and development, or store leadership experience.
• Background within premium, luxury, fashion, or specialty retail preferred.
• Experience designing and delivering employee training programs.
• Strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working with store teams at different levels of experience.
• Ability to travel to company locations as required.
