Our values of integrity, collaboration, and excellence enable us to lead the industry in providing the optimal solution for our clients.\nKeller is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager based out of our Acton, ON location.\nResponsibilities\nBusiness Development and Proposal Preparations\nIdentifies new opportunities and coordinates with the management team for support and overall strategy. Helps to identify new markets, clients and technologies while building client relationships.\nAssembles proposals which includes performing risk assessment, evaluating opportunities to increase profit, estimating, engineering, technical writing, site visits and client Q & A.\nResponsible for negotiation of the contract and understanding the contract requirements.\nCoordinates with pre-construction team if applicable. \nRisk Management\nFully understands and complies with Keller risk management policies and procedures.\nRecognizes major risks and takes appropriate measures to reduce risks to the company. \nInitial Planning\nResponsible for designs, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling.\nPlans pre-project meetings with the Superintendent and other entities as required. \nDevelops plans and strategies with the project team to maximize profitability of projects.\nProject Execution\nBuilds and leads effective project-based teams.\nEnsures the work performed meets the specified requirements.\nWorks with the branch and project team to ensure the project stays on schedule and in budget.\nIdentifies and addresses challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability. \nChange Management\nIdentifies, tracks and addresses changes; escalates changes when necessary. \nFinancial Management\nDirects the project team in the development of financial and production budgets for each project which facilitates cost tracking and accounting; defines goals and project schedule; develops detailed procurement plans relating to equipment and material; selects vendors and subcontractors; develops site plans including location of equipment. \nSubmits weekly dashboards, monthly financial reports, and forecasts, etc. to operations leadership. \nReviews and manages key information related to the project including client feedback, change orders, material/equipment, and project cost reports. \nManages project cash flow and change order management; escalates unresolved issues to business unit leadership as needed. \nPeople Management\nProvides guidance, direction, coaching, and support to direct reports to maximize individual and overall team performance. \nTakes appropriate action to develop direct reports including, but not limited to, preparing and monitoring career development plans, promotions, demotions, lateral moves, corrective action, and progressive discipline. \nSafety and Quality Assurance\nEnsures compliance with all safety requirements.\nIn the event of a safety incident, work in partnership with HSEQ to support employees and project management teams per Keller policy.\nResolves all quality nonconformance issues.\nExercises stop work authority for Safety and Quality issues \nQualifications\nQualified candidates will have:\nBachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.\nMinimum 10 years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred. \nExcellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to perform work in a standard office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer\nFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and operating office equipment (e.g., keyboard, mouse, calculator)\nAbility to view and read information on a computer screen for extended periods\nAbility to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through electronic means\nOccasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment\nAbility to lift and carry office materials (e.g., files, documents, or equipment) up to 5-10 pounds on an occasional basis\nAbility to maintain focus and accuracy while performing detailed, repetitive tasks\nMay require extended periods of concentration and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.\nAdditional Information\nSalary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 CAD\n\nActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law.\nBenefits\nRRSP w/ company match\nLife insurance\nPaid time off (PTO) \nKeller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
