Relocation may be necessary.\nPosition Summary\nOversee daily warehouse operations, leading teams to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused performance while meeting compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement goals.\nEssential Responsibilities\nSupervise personnel includes scheduling, work assignments, performance management, training, and problem resolution.\nLead daily shift huddles and communicate operational goals, performance updates, and safety topics.\nHold supervising staff accountable on adherence to their job requirements and follow through as needed. \nMonitor and main labor efficiency and performance management through effective labor planning and timekeeping system oversight.\nManage inventory accuracy, support physical inventory counts, and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis.\nDevelop and update SOPs for warehouse operations and ensure adherence across assigned locations.\nEnsure all training requirements are met throughout the organization. Drive and develop new training programs as needed for operational success. Train and mentor new employees on standard operating procedures, forklift certification, and safety best practices.\nSkills\nEffective communication\nAccountability\nEmployee development and performance management skills\nMust be adept at gathering information from various sources with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvements.\nQualifications\nProficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld RF scanners.\nForklift operating experience; willingness to obtain trainer certification through internal training.\nAbility to lead a diverse workforce and build a team-oriented culture.\n3-5 years 3PL warehouse management experience.\nWilling to travel as needed to monitor operations.\nPhysical and Work Environment Requirements\nThis position works in an active warehouse environment and requires frequent movement and material handling.
