Size and scope of projects range from $50,000-5,000,000. Works directly with clients to ensure deliverables meet scope and budget. Leads project teams to achieve success.\nResponsibilities\nBusiness Development and Proposal Preparations\nIdentifies new opportunities and coordinates with the management team for support and overall strategy. Helps to identify new markets, clients and technologies while building client relationships.\nAssembles proposals which includes performing risk assessment, evaluating opportunities to increase profit, estimating, engineering, technical writing, site visits and client Q & A.\nResponsible for negotiation of the contract and understanding the contract requirements.\nCoordinates with pre-construction team if applicable.\nRisk Management\nFully understands and complies with Keller risk management policies and procedures.\nRecognizes major risks and takes appropriate measures to reduce risks to the company.\nInitial Planning\nResponsible for designs, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling.\nPlans pre-project meetings with the Superintendent and other entities as required.\nDevelops plans and strategies with the project team to maximize profitability of projects.\nProject Execution\nBuilds and leads effective project-based teams.\nEnsures the work performed meets the specified requirements.\nWorks with the branch and project team to ensure the project stays on schedule and in budget.\nIdentifies and addresses challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability.\nChange Management\nIdentifies, tracks and addresses changes; escalates changes when necessary.\nFinancial Management\nApproves and monitors weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets and other metrics throughout the duration of the project.\nManages A/R collections.\nSafety and Quality Assurance\nEnsures compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety requirements.\nIn the event of a safety incident, work in partnership with HSEQ to support employees and project management teams per Keller policy.\nResolves all quality nonconformance issues.\nExercises stop work authority for Safety and Quality issues\nQualifications\nBackground Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Experience)\nBachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.\nMinimum 5 years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred.\nExcellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary\nAdditional Information\nBenefits\n401(k) + matching \nHealth, Dental, Vision insurance \nLife insurance \nPaid time off (PTO) \nHoliday Pay \nKeller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
