This role is ideal for an attorney who excels in drafting, analyzing, and refining complex legal documents in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. The Attorney will play a critical role in producing high-quality written work product to support case strategy and execution.\nThis position is fully remote and typically a standard 40-hour work week. Candidates must be willing to work general business hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT. The salary range is $100,000-$130,000 per year, plus a year-end discretionary bonus and benefits.\nEssential Functions:\nDraft, revise, and finalize complex legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and written discovery, with a high degree of precision and clarity.\nCollaborate closely with partners and associates to develop written legal arguments and case strategy.\nConduct in-depth legal research and translate findings into persuasive, well-structured written analysis.\nPrepare memoranda and other internal work product to support litigation efforts.\nDraft client communications and litigation updates for internal and external use.\nAssist with fact development and case workups, ensuring all written materials accurately reflect the record.\nCommunicate, as needed, with courts, outside counsel, clients, experts, and vendors in support of written submissions and case progress.\nEnsure all written work complies with applicable federal and state procedural rules and court requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Skills and Abilities:\nDemonstrated strength in legal writing, editing, and written advocacy.\nExperience drafting complex litigation documents across multiple jurisdictions.\nExceptional attention to detail, particularly in written work product.\nStrong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal issues into clear, concise writing.\nAbility to manage multiple writing assignments and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively.\nFamiliarity with federal and state court rules and procedures.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word (including document formatting and editing), Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.\nEducation/Experience:\nJuris Doctor from an accredited law school.\nAt least three years of litigation experience, with a demonstrated focus on legal drafting and writing.\nCertificates/Licenses Required:\nActive membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.\nKeller Postman is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
