This role involves delivering products to customers in a timely, safe manner and assisting with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of handling physical tasks.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDelivery Driver Duties:\nSafely operate company vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.) to deliver goods to customers or job sites.\nLoad and unload delivery vehicles with care to avoid damage.\nPlan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled delivery times.\nVerify the accuracy of delivery orders before leaving the warehouse.\nInteract with customers professionally, ensuring satisfaction with the delivery.\nObtain signatures and documentation to confirm deliveries.\nInspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure road safety (check tire pressure, oil, fuel levels, etc.).\nFollow all traffic laws and company safety policies.\nMake sure the vehicle is clean and tidy inside and out. \nReport any accidents, delivery issues, or vehicle malfunctions to management.\nWarehouse Duties:\nAssist in receiving, unloading, and storing incoming shipments.\nPick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.\nOrganize and maintain inventory, ensuring products are labeled and stored correctly.\nConduct routine inventory checks to report any discrepancies or shortages.\nOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or hand trucks.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.\nFollow all safety protocols while handling materials and using equipment.\nAssist in other warehouse tasks as assigned by supervisors.\nSet- Up Technician:\nUnbox, setup and configure copiers, printers, scanners and fax machines.\nPerform firmware updates and software installations.\nCreate and execute a proactive Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule; conduct PM on devices as required by repeat issues or problematic devices.\nDiagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.\nAccurately and promptly track and update service calls in MWA, ensuring information is clear, thorough, accurate, and professional.\nCompetencies:\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.\nCustomer Focus: The individual needs to demonstrate understanding and compassion for concerns and issues. The individual should promptly address customer inquiries and complaints and go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.\nCommunication Skills -Clearly and effectively communicate with customers and team members. Writes concise, clear, and professional emails and messages. Pays full attention to customers, understands their needs, and responds appropriately. \nProblem-Solving Skills: The individual identifies the root cause of customer issues and develops effective solutions. They think outside the box to resolve customer problems and improve service. They make sound decisions quickly to address customer needs and issues.\nTime Management: The individual effectively prioritizes tasks to manage multiple customer inquiries and issues. Completes tasks.\nAdaptability -The individual adapts to changing customer needs, policies, and technologies. Remains calm and effective under pressure during high-volume periods. Quickly learn new procedures and systems as required. \nQualifications:\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse worker is preferred.\nAbility to operate delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment safely.\nPhysical ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs.) and perform manual labor for extended periods.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.\nAbility to follow directions, work independently, and handle multiple tasks.\nKnowledge of safety regulations related to driving and warehouse operations.\nForklift certification (a plus but not required).\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.\nRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, invoices, SOP, and instructions; write routine reports and correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one situations and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees.\nMath Skills:\nAdd, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.\nReasoning Ability:\nApply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Identifies problems, gathers information, and offers solutions.\nComputer Skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Proficiency with email is required.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands and work environment described below represent the activities and surroundings of the positions. The employee is also frequently required to talk and hear on the telephone and in person with individuals and groups. The employee must be able to reach with hands and arms. Type frequently throughout the day.
