This position plays a critical role in coordinating resources, managing project finances, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can efficiently manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities\nLead the overall execution of commercial mechanical construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from kickoff to closeout.\nDevelop project schedules, resource plans, manpower forecasts, and execution strategies to achieve project goals.\nTrack budgets, labor costs, productivity metrics, and financial performance to maintain profitability.\nCoordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services required for project execution.\nMaintain regular communication with clients, consultants, vendors, and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with field leadership, operations teams, estimators, and support staff to align project objectives.\nConduct project status meetings and provide updates regarding schedules, financial performance, risks, and milestones.\nReview plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents to ensure project requirements are clearly understood.\nManage project administration including change orders, RFIs, submittals, purchase requests, and contract documentation.\nIdentify challenges affecting project performance and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.\nMonitor subcontractor and supplier performance to ensure contractual obligations and quality expectations are met.\nSupport the development of team members through mentorship, communication, and leadership.\nPromote safe work practices and ensure adherence to company safety standards and regulatory requirements.\nOversee startup activities, project commissioning, closeout documentation, and final customer handoff.\nBuild strong client partnerships that contribute to repeat business and long-term customer retention.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and other operational projects as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nAt least three years of project management experience within commercial mechanical construction, HVAC, piping, or related trades.\nProven success managing project schedules, budgets, customer expectations, and construction deliverables.\nWorking knowledge of construction contracts, project controls, and industry-standard project management practices.\nAbility to successfully manage multiple active projects while balancing competing priorities.\nExperience coordinating labor resources, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders.\nDemonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.\nAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical construction documents.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office products and project management platforms.\nStrong attention to detail and effective time-management skills.\nPreferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:\nCommercial mechanical system installations and renovations.\nHydronic piping, process piping, or plumbing systems.\nSheet metal systems and air distribution projects.\nBuilding automation, controls integration, or energy management systems.\nEquipment replacement projects, startup coordination, and commissioning activities.\nDesign-build or negotiated project delivery environments.\nHealthcare, education, industrial, municipal, or large-scale commercial facilities.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a closely related discipline preferred.\nEquivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.\nMinimum of three years managing construction or mechanical projects in a commercial setting.\nExperience with tenant improvements, facility upgrades, renovations, or new construction projects is beneficial.\nKnowledge of forecasting, budget management, contract administration, and client relationship management.\nOSHA 30 certification preferred.\nProfessional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent are advantageous.\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.\nAbility to visit and support project sites throughout the service area as
