Working in a state-of-the-art testing environment, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, executing, and reporting laboratory and product tests that support product development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.\nYou will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across Kelvion’s global organization, including Product Development, Research & Innovation, Manufacturing, Sales, New Product Introduction, and other central functions. Your work will help validate innovative solutions for customers such as data centres, heat pump manufacturers, and hydrogen fuel cell producers.\nKey Responsibilities\nPreparing, setting up, and operating laboratory equipment and test rigs for product and component testing.\nDeveloping and executing test plans, procedures, and protocols for new and existing products.\nRecording, analysing, and interpreting test results, identifying deviations, failures, and improvement opportunities.\nProducing clear and accurate test reports and maintaining comprehensive documentation of test activities.\nSupporting root cause investigations and troubleshooting of test failures.\nCollaborating with engineering, development, and quality teams to recommend product and process improvements.\nMaintaining, calibrating, and monitoring laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance.\nSupporting compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nAssisting with risk assessments and safe working procedures within the laboratory environment.\nContributing to continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean practices and 5S activities to maintain a safe, organised, and efficient laboratory.\nSupporting the ongoing development and enhancement of laboratory testing capabilities and processes.\nYour Profile\nDegree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.\nExperience in a laboratory, product testing, validation, or engineering environment, with a strong understanding of testing procedures and equipment.\nStrong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test results.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with laboratory management, data acquisition, or testing software.\nOrganised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.\nA safety-conscious team player with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across multidisciplinary teams.\nCommitted to continuous improvement and 5S principles, with a willingness to learn new technologies, testing methods, and industry best practices.\nExperience with heat exchanger or HVAC testing, test automation, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, laboratory safety certifications, or working with ammonia and similar chemicals would be advantageous.\nPlease note that the application deadline is October 23, 2026.\nAt Kelvion we thrive on collaboration, embracing diversity of thought, and valuing every voice.
