The successful candidate will collaborate across global R&D, product development, marketing, technical service, and business teams to translate scientific discoveries into practical customer solutions.\nThe ideal candidate is a highly motivated scientist with strong experimental skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for applying science to solve real-world challenges.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, execute, and interpret laboratory studies to evaluate enzyme functionality and performance across diverse applications.\nDevelop innovative approaches to optimize enzyme performance and application outcomes.\nLead scientific investigations related to enzyme mechanisms, biochemical interactions, and application technologies.\nAnalyze and interpret complex experimental data using appropriate statistical and scientific methods.\nPrepare technical reports, presentations, scientific publications, and intellectual property disclosures.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across research, product development, operations, and commercial functions.\nMaintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and documentation requirements.\nStay current with emerging scientific literature, technologies, and industry trends relevant to enzyme applications.\nContribute to innovation initiatives that support Kemin's long-term growth and technology leadership.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nPh.D in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Enzymology or a related scientific discipline.\nMinimum of 3 years of industrial or equivalent research experience.\nDemonstrated ability to independently design, execute, and troubleshoot scientific experiments.\nStrong data analysis, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated fluency in English.\nStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\nProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.\nUndergraduate education from a 211 university.
