This role is ideal for a technician who is comfortable working independently on installations, understands best practices in electronic security systems, and can support junior technicians onsite when required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Execution & Installation (Primary Functions)\nIndependently install and support:\nCCTV systems\nIntrusion alarm systems\nAnalogue and VoIP intercom systems\nStructured cabling\nEMT, PVC, and Wiremold conduit\nMagnetic locks and electric strikes\nAutomatic door and gate controls\nPerform system integration including:\nIntrusion systems integrated with access control\nCCTV systems integrated with access control\nComplete software installation, configuration, and system upgrades\nAttend job-site meetings as required\nPerform networking-related tasks including:\nLAN / WAN setup\nDHCP, TCP/IP networking\nBasic router configuration including port forwarding\nComplete job-site documentation, including:\nWork orders\nTest and commissioning reports\nDeficiency and close-out documentation\nTeam Support & Collaboration\nProvide guidance and technical assistance to junior technicians\nParticipate in scheduled on-call support rotation as required\nQualifications & Experience\n3+ years of relevant experience in electronic security or low-voltage installations\nAbility to read and interpret electrical and system drawings\nStrong understanding of electronic security devices and troubleshooting techniques\nExperience using power tools including hammer drills, grinders, and cutting tools\nProficient with test equipment including: Multimeters, network testers and scanners\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel for basic data import/export\nAbility to work efficiently and meet project deadlines\nValid driver’s license
