The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSecurity Systems Service (Primary Function)\nPerform service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades on security and life-safety systems\nSupport both current and end-of-life (EOL) products and platforms\nDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issues\nPerform software recoveries, upgrades, and system conversions\nInstall and support server/client software associated with security platforms\nService and Maintenance:\nIntrusion detection systems\nAccess control systems\nULC fire monitoring systems\nIntercom and duress systems\nComplete ULC inspections for fire monitoring and monitored intrusion systems\nProvide technical support to end users and internal field staff\nPrepare clear, accurate service documentation and reports for management and compliance\nTechnical and Systems Knowledge\nStrong troubleshooting capability across software, hardware, and network-related issues\nExperience with system firmware updates and security patches\nFamiliarity with computer hardware repair and operating system support\nSound understanding of low-voltage and electronic systems\nWorking knowledge of computer networking and IT fundamentals\nQualifications and Experience\n 5+ years of relevant service technician experience or experience in a related field\nKnowledge of:\nLow-voltage wiring and electronics\nComputer networking and IT concepts\nStrong knowledge of all aspects of installation of CCTV, Card Access, Intercom and Intrusion systems. \nProficient in ICT \nExperience with the following systems:\nC-Cure 9000\nGenetec Security Center\nAvigilon ACC/ACM\nBosch
