A Senior Application Engineer serves as a valuable resource and a leader within the sales territory. This position is more mature in experience and expertise, as well as thoroughly knowledgeable in the metal cutting industry; as such, the incumbent is expected to carry customer accounts, act as a trainer/mentor for a less experienced team members, and step up as interim leader when needed.\nKey Job Responsibilities\nCoordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, sales, etc) for project management\n\nUnderstand customers' business, technology, and product requirements and appropriately match Kennametal tooling solutions, products and services to meet customer needs\n\nExceed customer expectations relative to Kennametal service levels and technical know-how and value-added services\n\nPerform sales forecasting, account planning and other administrative tasks that will
