The role supports safe work practices, site HSSE activities, and accurate reporting and documentation while collaborating with site personnel and leadership. The assignment is expected to continue through 2027, with any extension subject to review and client requirements.\nSkills and Responsibilities:\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the implementation of site HSSE procedures, programs, and initiatives.\nConduct workplace observations and inspections to identify hazards and communicate corrective actions.\nAssist personnel with understanding and following site safety requirements and safe work practices.\nSupport hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.\nAssist with reporting and documenting incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.\nSupport incident investigations and track assigned corrective actions to completion.\nMaintain accurate HSSE records, inspection reports, training records, and related documentation.\nAssist with site orientations and communicate relevant HSSE information to employees and contractors.\nSupport environmental awareness, housekeeping, and compliance with site environmental procedures.\nCoordinate with site leadership and HSSE personnel to identify concerns and support continuous improvement.\nIn addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.\nYour knowledge/skills, education, and experience:\nKnowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:\nRelevant education or training in occupational health and safety, environmental studies, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and practical experience.\nExperience supporting HSSE activities in an industrial or operating facility.\nWorking knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, incident reporting, and workplace inspections.\nAbility to interpret and follow applicable occupational health and safety requirements and client procedures.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail when maintaining records and preparing reports.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to complete required client onboarding and site-specific training.\nCommunication:\nExcellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication.\nAbility to communicate safety requirements clearly and respectfully to employees, contractors, and supervisors.\nAbility to prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain effective working relationships.\nBehavior/Core Competencies:\nDemonstrates a strong commitment to safe work practices.\nActs with integrity, accountability, and professionalism.\nUses sound judgment and raises concerns promptly.\nWorks collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.\nTakes initiative and follows through on assigned actions.\nAdapts to changing site priorities and operational requirements.\nHSSEQ:\nThe Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company;
