and MySQL database environments\nMonitoring database availability, capacity and performance, and performing regular performance tuning activities\nManaging Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments\nManaging database backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes\nPerforming database patching, upgrades and security hardening activities\nTroubleshooting database-related incidents and performing root cause analysis\nSupporting database design and implementation activities for new projects and product developments\nPreparing and maintaining documentation related to database standards, configurations and operational procedures\nSupporting database security requirements and taking part in the implementation of necessary security solutions\nMonitoring and improving database, cluster and backup environments\nWorking closely with software development, system, infrastructure and operation teams\nSupporting Linux-based database servers and related system security activities\nResearching and implementing improvements to increase database availability, performance, reliability and operational efficiency\nQualifications\nBS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field\nGood command of written and spoken English to work effectively in an international environment\nAt least 3-4 years of experience in database administration\nHands-on experience in Oracle Database 12c and 19c administration\nExperience in Oracle RAC and Data Guard administration, monitoring and troubleshooting\nExperience in Oracle ASM environments\nExperience in Oracle database backup and recovery operations, preferably using RMAN\nExperience in database performance monitoring and tuning, including AWR/ADDM reports, execution plans and wait event analysis\nGood knowledge of SQL and basic/intermediate knowledge of PL/SQL\nExperience in MySQL database administration\nGood knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems\nExperience in shell scripting\nKnowledge of database security, patching, hardening and access management processes\nExperience in monitoring, capacity planning, cluster management and backup operations\nExperience with Oracle WebLogic is preferred\nExperience with VMware virtualization technologies is preferred\nKnowledge or experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus\nExperience with PostgreSQL database administration is a plus\nStrong analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nWillingness to learn new technologies and continuously
