Support Kentro's Growth team in proposal management and content development for strategic and priority opportunities across multiple federal markets (including Defense, IC, Civil, Health). Our team supports each other as needed throughout the proposal process, but we also understand the importance of down time and work-life balance.\nLocation:Remote -This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.\nCompensation Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000–$130,000 annually and reflects Kentro’s good-faith expectations at the time of posting. Final compensation is determined based on the role’s requirements, relevant skills, experience, education, certifications, work location, applicable security clearance requirements, market conditions, internal equity, and contract requirements.\nThis Job Description reflects the primary duties of the role; however, it is not intended to be all‑inclusive. Team members may be asked to take on additional responsibilities in alignment with customer expectations, business needs, and Kentro’s culture of collaboration and adaptability.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead and manage the overall proposal development process from Pre-Proposal Phase through production and Post-Proposal Phase for priority/strategic proposals as assigned\n\nCoach and train proposal teams using Kentro Growth Team processes on the development of complex, compliant and compelling proposal responses\n\nProduce and manage proposal outlines, kickoff documentation, writing and reviewer assignments, compliance matrices, and proposal deliverables\n\nDevelop and maintain proposal schedules, and drive proposal team in adherence to the schedule from beginning to end, ensuring delivery to the customer\n\nLead proposal color reviews to include scheduling, organizing, facilitating, preparing, conducting, and supporting comment summation, adjudication, and final inclusion\n\nProvide support, as directed, to Growth Team members on other priority proposals and projects as assigned (including content development, desktop publishing, tech editing, compliance reviews, and support with Capture activities and RFI responses)\n\nCollaborate with graphic designers, project managers, capture managers, and client service teams to build creative and innovative material\n\nTranslate technical information into clear, consistent, and grammatically correct content\n\nDemonstrate ability to sift through a discussion with SMEs and leaders, extracting the most significant information and action items\n\nWrite, revise, and edit drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, management processes, and Past Performance qualifications in a clear concise manner maintaining continuity of style and content\n\nReview final documents for editing and content completeness\n\nIdentify and escalate proposal writing and production issues to Kentro leadership for proactive remedies and resolution\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation: Undergraduate degree in English, journalism, communications, humanities, liberal arts, or related disciplines\n\nExperience: 5 years of federal proposal management experience \n\nTechnical Skills:\nAn understanding of the Federal source selection acquisition process\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with varying personalities across all functions, while maintaining positive attitude and sense of humor\n\nAbility to review and correct material for content, style, and compliance with internal and external standards, and conduct follow-ups when needed with primary authors\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
