The program coordinator assists in the planning and effectiveness evaluation, development, and implementation of program goals. The program coordinator is a key individual in the program institutional effectiveness program.\nJob Duties:\nThe program coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations of the Automotive Technology program and works collaboratively with the Dean, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Vice President of Student Affairs and the President. The program coordinator assists in the planning and effectiveness evaluation, development, and implementation of program goals. The program coordinator is a key individual in the program institutional effectiveness program.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of classes in the Automotive Technology related fields and will coordinate with other instructors and lab support staff to assure the success of the students.\nAdditional faculty workload includes:\n- Community Service\n- Various departmental activities that may include course development and evaluation\n- Mentoring adjunct faculty\n- Student outcome assessment\nMinimum Qualifications:\nFaculty should possess a baccalaureate or associate degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
