For more information, click here.\nRole reports to:\nSenior Brand Manager - AveenoLocation:\nEurope/Middle East/Africa, United Kingdom, Reading, BerkshireWork Location:\nHybridWhat you will do\nKenvue is currently recruiting for multiple:\nCommercial Student Placements\nThis position is based at our Reading office (hybrid working policy) running from June 2027 --> July 2028\nWhat does our Commercial team do at Kenvue?\nThis team is Kenvue’s key point of contact with our many customers, from large national retailers to local pharmacies. Our Commercial team manage accounts, develops and maintains relationships, sells products, guides our commercial pricing strategy and ultimately deliver our sales targets.\nIt’s not about making a quick buck or being on the phone everyday. We have been working with our customers for many years so this is more about strategic partnering and joint business planning. Join us and you’ll receive all the training and support you need to get to know our products inside and out and help deliver against our sales targets by building strong partnerships with internal colleagues and customers. You may be responsible for conducting business analysis and tracking and make recommendations to the business. From day one, you'll be given real responsibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the business, developing skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, problem solving and commercial decision-making. Also, expect to work closely with the Marketing team to create engaging plans that will result in the “Triple Win” (for our Consumers, our Customers and for Us).\nNo two days are the same within the Customer Development team at Kenvue. There are also opportunities throughout the year to take part in cross-functional projects and have contact with senior leaders in the business.\nResponsibilities\nRegular store visits.\nTracking and reporting sales figures.\nTaking ownership of specific brands or areas of the business and becoming a key contact for day-to-day account activities.\nSupporting customer and buyer conversations, helping to build commercially beneficial proposals for both Kenvue and the customer.\nWorking alongside Shopper Marketing to create effective point-of-sale material.\nMonitoring stock levels, availability and promotional performance, particularly during key seasonal events and major activations.\nSupporting the successful execution of promotional activity and new product launches.\nSupporting the creation of strategies for each brand alongside the Marketing team.\nWorking cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Shopper, Category and Marketing teams to deliver customer plans and resolve challenges.\nPresenting recommendations and insights to a range of internal and external stakeholders.\nCarrying out business planning activities such as forecasting and trade investment management.\nWhat we are looking for\n2 years of degree level study completed.\nA minimum of 2:1 achieved in first year of study.\nBusiness-related degree or evidenced experience/interest.\nTake responsibility for delivering results and eagerly accept challenges.\nAbility to digest information effectively and consequently prioritise.\nTakes a strategic approach.\nMarket assessment and targeting skills.\nBig picture orientation.\nIntellectual curiosity.\nPrudent risk taker.\nBuilds strong, productive relationships.\nDemonstrates ability to work well in a team.\nDemonstrate self-awareness by actively seeking feedback and using constructive criticism.\nEffective listener remaining open to others’ ideas.\nAnalytical skills.\nKenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
