Architect Manager is accountable for defining, governing, and evolving the Global Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution architecture while actively contributing to the development and implementation of the solution.\nThe role serves as the bridge between business requirements, solution design, and technical implementation, ensuring alignment with Kenvue's global manufacturing digitization strategy.\nAdditionally, this position is expected to remain hands-on and actively participate in configuration, development, troubleshooting, and technical leadership activities.\nThis position will be based out of our location in São José dos Campos, Brazil or in India.\nKey Responsibilities\nSolution Architecture\nOwn and evolve Kenvue Global MES architecture based on the AVEVA MES solution stack\nDefine architecture standards, design principles, and reusable patterns\nEnsure consistency across sites, applications, integrations, and deployments\nEvaluate new requirements and assess impact on the overall solution landscape\nDrive architectural decisions and technical governance\nHands-On Development & Technical Leadership\nActively participate in MES configuration and development activities\nDevelop proof-of-concepts and complex solution components\nSupport resolution of critical technical issues and production incidents\nPerform design and code reviews\nDefine development standards and best practices\nCoach and mentor internal and external developers\nProduct & Template Ownership\nContribute to the evolution of the Global MES Template\nEnsure scalability, maintainability, and reusability of the solution\nSupport rollout and deployment activities\nLead technical discussions regarding new capabilities and enhancements\nVendor & Partner Management\nProvide technical leadership to development and architecture teams consist of internal and external (System Integrator) resources\nReview and challenge solution proposals from external partners\nFacilitate engagement with AVEVA product teams, R&D, and support organizations when required\nEnsure external resources follow Kenvue architecture and development standards\nDelivery Leadership\nCollaborate with Business Analysts to shape FDS, then own the creation of SDS, technical designs, and implementation approaches, ensuring requirements are translated into scalable and executable development solutions\nBreak down functional requirements into detailed technical work packages, development stories, and implementation tasks\nEnsure consistent interpretation of requirements across development teams\nContribute to sprint planning and technical prioritization\nKnowledge Development\nBuild and maintain MES expertise within Kenvue\nCreate and maintain architecture documentation\nDrive knowledge transfer from suppliers to internal teams\nSupport development of long-term internal capabilities\nWhat we are looking for\nRequired Skills & Experience\nTechnical\nProven strong hands-on experience with AVEVA MES and AVEVA Work Tasks\nStrong knowledge and experience integrating AVEVA MES with L2 (System Platform)\nExperience designing, developing, configuring, and supporting MES solutions in manufacturing environments\nStrong understanding of ISA-95 and manufacturing execution processes\nAdvanced SQL scripting skills, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, stored procedures, and data analysis\nStrong JavaScript development skills for MES forms customization and application development\nExperience working with Azure DevOps / GitHub-based development lifecycle, including backlog management, sprint execution, CI/CD concepts, and release management\nExperience with MES integrations, APIs, database interfaces, and enterprise systems\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues across application, integration, and database layers\nLeadership\nAbility to lead technical teams without direct management
