As a member of this team, you will support processing receipts, discounts, rebates, bad debts provisions and customer queries in an accurate and timely fashion for specific business sector(s) and countries serviced by Metro-Asia Pacific (HK&TW).\nThis is an exciting opportunity that will offer exclusive access to a network of financial professionals worldwide. and targets as set by the team manager\n\nEnsure all processes are compliant with internal and external audit requirements.\n\nAccount Receivable Processing\nKey activities inclusive of but not limited to:\nManage cash application process by providing clearance details\n\nIdentify and resolve issues and discrepancies with banks and customers where possible\n\nEscalate issues to AR team lead when necessary to avoid delays in processing\n\nAssist in period end closing activities and liaising with other teams as required\n\nGenerate, review and validate AR reports as required\n\nConduct AR forecast and cash flow forecast, track budget vs actual and actual vs actual with analysis\n\nAssist in updating documentation process and/or SOPs as required\n\nAssist with AR processing for Metro-Asia Pacific itself when required\n\nAudit and Compliance:\nKey activities inclusive of but not limited to:\nEnsure current processes, operations, systems, databases and information security are up to date and comply with proper accounting and legal principles/policies/procedures, including GAAP, Company WWP (worldwide procedures), SOX and others\n\nSupport auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities - ensure staff and information are available as required\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.\n\nMinimum 3-5 years of relevant Finance experience In the Accounts Receivable (AR) or finance processing function\n\nExperience working in shared services or a global business services environment.\n\nFluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin with excellent written and verbal communication/stakeholder management skills, Cantonese is a plus.\n\nProficient in SAP, Hyperion or other mainstream ERP systems.\n\nA can-do attitude and ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.\n\nAbility to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.\n\nDesired Qualifications\nProfessional designations such as MBA, CPA, or CMA or working towards the designation would be an advantage but not required\n\nKnowledge of automation tools and technology used in
