For more information, click here.\nRole reports to:\nDirector Liquids PlatformLocation:\nNorth America, United States, Pennsylvania, LititzWork Location:\nHybridWhat you will do\nThe Liquids Platform SME (Subject Matter Expert) Engineer reports to the Liquids Platform Director, he she is:\nResponsible for alignment, planning, design and completion of technology platform projects andor key initiatives.\nDeveloping, training and adopting Liquids Technology standards, guidelines and best practices;\nDriving Manufacturing Enabled Innovation through scouting, selecting, studying and developing business cases for new technologies addressing our business needs;\nDemonstrating solid technical background in the Liquids segment, with the ability to create strong relationships with different functions, to build technical solution adoption;\nCapable of assessing and processes and solving complex technical problems \nThe liquids Subject Matter Expert (SME) will:\nExecute Platform lead Engineering projects and deliver against FPOs (Final Project Objectives)\nPerform feasibility study of new Platform projects, define business case\nPlan and/or verify, and controls project costs and schedules\nPromote and monitor all regulatory requirements impacting platform\nDevelop, review, and analyze specifications\nAnalyze requirements to select and engage partners, manage their performance (e.g., suppliers, consultants)\nAssist in developing and maintaining technology roadmaps for the platform\nEnsure programs/projects are aligned with the technology platform roadmaps and standards.\nContribute to planning, scoping, quantification, and implementation of all sorts of global programs\nPropose, develop, and drive technical standard adoption to meet current and future needs\nAct as preferred “go-to” person for complex issue resolution (at global level)\nLead/participate in Community of Practice in own area(s) of expertise\nLead technical capability building programs\nInfluences internal and external peers\nBuild extensive external and internal network\nEngage in external and internal benchmarking to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation\nRequirements:\nEducation: MS (Eng.) preferred Mechanical or Chemical Engineering\nExperience:\nTechnical expertise and in-depth knowledge of liquids technologies (for personal care, food, chemicals or self-care).\nExperience with manufacturing operations and support.\nExperience in dealing with Manufacturing plants and their organization.\nManagement experience in Manufacturing or Maintenance or other functions, Operations Excellence/Lean/6-Sigma is an advantage. \nTravel: Regional & International Travel (up to 30%)\nAdditional Requirement: Proficient Knowledge of English Language\nCore Competencies:\nDeep technical understanding of processes and practices\nApplied understanding of the business & the regulatory environment\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExhibits passion to collaborate and influence without authority at different levels of the organization\nStrong organizational skills\nDigital technology deep understanding\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to drive multiple complex technical projects\nHighly developed expertise in one or more core areas.
