For more information, click here.\nRole reports to:\nAssoc Director Global Package TestingLocation:\nNorth America, United States, New Jersey, SummitWork Location:\nFully OnsiteWhat you will do\nWe are seeking a motivated individual to lead packaging lab analysts with testing agility, consumer centricity, simplicity, and continuous improvement and add value to the packaging lab by effectively collaborating with our partners at Kenvue. Drive the application of best-in-class scientific ways of working with the lab team with lab risk assessments, hands-on test execution, investigations, and training/upskilling to enhance consumer value delivery. This role reports to the Associate Director, Global Packaging Labs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate the planning of tests to perform on a weekly basis with the lab team\nMonitor Lab KPI’s to maintain zero test backlog and address areas to improve with the lab team\nSupport robust test plan creation with the lab team and packaging engineering to capture risks with technical rigor and removing complexity for packaging materials and products in accordance with industry standards and regulations\nEvaluate packaging performance under various conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure)\nAnalyze and interpret test results to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvements\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement packaging solutions that meet customer needs and specifications\nStay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in packaging technology to continuously improve testing methods and processes\nMaintain accurate records of testing procedures and results for future reference and analysis\nAssist in the development of new products and technologies.\nConduct hands-on testing for design verification and test method development.\nDraft technical reports, work instructions, and method and process validations.\nLead and support the lab team with defect investigations and root cause analysis\nManage and schedule equipment calibrations and maintenance\nDraft onboarding training materials for lab analysts\nTrain and coach lab analysts\nContribute to prototype, tool, and fixture testing following fabrication to ensure that they meet specifications.\nCollaborate with manufacturing and production engineering groups to provide engineering and design services.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulations\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or related field\n4+ years of experience in a packaging testing or related role\nExperience with leading and supervising a team\nExperience in product testing and design verification.\nExperience in managing the function of a laboratory in a GxP environment\nExperience in owning tasks and driving the tasks to completion by partnering with team members\nPreferred Skills:\nBeing proactive with leading continuous improvement\nProficiency in using laboratory equipment and software\nExperience in product testing and design verification.\nExperience in managing the function of a laboratory in a GxP environment\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations for packaging materials and products\nAbility to conduct basic scientific research on new products and technology concepts.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAnnual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:\n$72,675.00 - $102,600.00This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.\nCompetitive Benefit Package*\n\nPaid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!\n\nLearning & Development Opportunities\n\nKenvuer Impact Networks\n\nThis list could vary based on location/region\n\n*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
