For more information, click here.\nRole reports to:\nSr. Manager Consumer Science Selfcare NALocation:\nNorth America, United States, New Jersey, SummitWork Location:\nHybridWhat you will do\nThe Senior Scientist will work within the Consumer Science team as part of an end-to-end R&D organization to support the development of products for the category. You will be responsible for consumer research to support multiple brands such as TYLENOL®, MOTRIN®, ZYRTEC®, BENADRYL®, and ZARBEES® as well as upstream innovation. You will work to foster a consumer-centric culture within the R&D organization to build deep consumer empathy through effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners. In addition to traditional methodologies, you will innovate capabilities using agile digital research tools, data science/advanced analytics, and modeling techniques to meet key project and program objectives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nApply Design Thinking principles to understand consumer needs, aspirations, and motivations to support end-to-end innovation projects and programs from exploration to validation\nIdentify and pilot new approaches and methodologies including those that leverage data science, advanced analytics, and AI where appropriate\nDesign and execute robust Learning Plans in collaboration with key cross-functional partners (Marketing, Insights, Design, and Formulation) to meet project needs and answer key consumer questions\nDesign and execute exploratory qualitative and quantitative research, product design and optimization research, benchmarking studies, and consumer perceived claims validation studies aligned with project and program objectives\nEffectively communicate consumer insights and actionable recommendations to the cross-functional team through use of storytelling and data visualization\nParticipate in analysis and interpretation of results and communication to project teams \nParticipate in Global Consumer Science community of practice to support a consumer-centric culture in the R&D organization\nEnsure all activities are conducted in accordance with high ethical/quality standards and all applicable policies and procedures\nWhat We Are Looking For\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree with at least 3 years, Master’s degree with 1-2+ years, or PhD degree with 0+ years of industry experience in qualitative and quantitative research in Consumer Science, Consumer Technical Insights, Sensory Science, Food Science, Psychology, Consumer Behavior, or Market Research\nExperience in a broad range of consumer research including product and concept testing, quant/qual, product benchmarking, and drivers of liking with experience in documenting, visualizing, and interpreting data\nExperience in consumer behavior science and/or data science and use of digital consumer science tools is preferred\nStrong analytical thinking and communication skills; comfortable presenting data and recommendations to key stakeholders\nHighly collaborative, able to work closely within Consumer Science and cross-functionally with R&D and other business partners including Design and Insights\nWhat’s in it for you\nAnnual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:\n$105,400.00 - $148,800.00This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.\nCompetitive Benefit Package*\n\nPaid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!\n\nLearning & Development Opportunities\n\nKenvuer Impact Networks\n\nThis list could vary based on location/region\n\n*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
