Join us in shaping our future-and yours.\nKey Responsibilities:\nThe Senior Scientist will be responsible for conducting research directed toward discovery and development of new scientific capabilities to enhance and diversify the expertise of Kenvue's Oral care, digestive health and allergy R&D. The selected candidate will seek out internal and external opportunities to grow our scientific thought leadership, taking a lead role in development of new molecular biology and immunology preclinical methods to assess technologies and products in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The candidate will stay up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements and technologies to inform research strategies and approaches. The Senior Scientist will design and develop studies to advance and progress the expertise and capabilities in the oral and systemic immune response related to oral care, digestive health, allergies etc that are predictive of clinical outcomes, provide mechanistic insights or generate new, scientifically robust, claims. Intellectual Property will be patented when feasible. Results of research will be communicated regularly, internally to partners and leaders, and externally at appropriate scientific conferences and professional engagements. Publication of scientific discoveries is encouraged to help share the outcomes of our research initiatives.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nA minimum of a Master’s degree with 4 years of applied research experience OR a PhD with 0-2 years of applied research experience is required. A degree in Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related major is required. Experience with the following is required:\nExperience working with cell culture and tissue culture and 2D and 3D cell preclinical models and data analysis \nIn depth knowledge of immune response and inflammatory biomarkers related to oral health, digestive health, allergies etc \nBiosafety Level 2 laboratory operations \nAbility to translate complex scientific topics into meaningful insights and actionable strategies. \nAbility to work independently and on a team \nExcellent oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills \nPrevious experience with the following is preferred:\nBioinformatics programming software such as R and minitab \nDetail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously \nProficient in computer software packages and literature searches \nUnderstanding of clinical and in situ study design \nExperience with imaging tools \nPeer reviewed publication and IP submission process with a proven track record of conducting and publishing impactful research in peer-reviewed journals \nThis position may require up to 10% overall travel.\nWhat’s in it for you\nAnnual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:\n$105.400,00 - $148.800,00This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.\nCompetitive Benefit Package*\n\nPaid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!\n\nLearning & Development Opportunities\n\nKenvuer Impact Networks\n\nThis list could vary based on location/region\n\n*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
