Architecting cloud data pipelines, designing schemas, and building data assets, requiring a CS/IT Degree, SQL/Python proficiency, experience with cloud tools (AWS/Azure) and Airflow, and 3+ years data engineering experience].\n\nPurpose\n\nReporting to the Senior Manager Data Science & Analytics, the Data Engineer is responsible for documenting data models, architecting distributed systems, creating reliable data pipelines, combining data sources, architecting data stores, and collaborating with the data science teams to build the right solutions for them.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAssisting in quality control of quantitative and qualitative research projects.\n\nDesigning, building and support data processing pipelines to transform data using Cloud technologies e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP etc.\n\nWorking with business analysts to understand business requirements and use cases.\n\nDeveloping and executing quality assurance and test scripts.\n\nBuilding survey and voter file data pipelines.\n\nDesigning, building data assets in cloud solutions and/or oracle ODI.\n\nDesigning and developing tools for internal team use to simplify complex task flows.\n\nDesigning schemas, data models and data architecture for cloud environments.\n\nImplementing data flow scripts using Unix and/or scripting.\n\nCreating scripts and workflows to automate repeated data processing tasks.\n\nWorking with data team to identify opportunities for task automation and helpful tools.\n\nSkills\n\nAbility to work across regional teams with strong communication and collaboration skills\n\nTendency to go above and beyond to make things work;
