Accountabilities:\nDriver Manager\nConduct field supervision of the driver group members to assess performance and competence\nManages absenteeism in the group and takes action to address unplanned absenteeism issues\nAddress driver performance issues, providing coaching and/or disciplinary action when appropriate\nWork with applicable KTA resources to recruit, interview, onboard, train, and retain qualified drivers to deliver service in accordance with the contract and location business plan\nOngoing collaboration with various Keolis Management team to ensure the service provided per our contract with MWRTA\nDriver Managers are to provide direct oversight of vehicle operators on the street.\nMust be willing to have flexibility with schedule and/or work split shifts, weekends, and holidays.\nEnsure that all operators are fit for duty, meet uniform and equipment standards and are in possession of proper licensing and certifications.\nAssist dispatch staff with vehicle change outs that occur in the field\nAssist operators with service or passenger problems\nConduct road observations according to client and local policy\nMonitor street operations for on-time performance and schedule adherence\nProvide feedback to safety and operations departments on service items that affect safety and performance, identify potential safety hazards, and provide feedback to be incorporated into daily operations procedures\nFollow company safety and operational rules and procedures\nAbility to work under stress and meet strict timelines\nHandling Special Event management\nMonitor AM and PM Pull-Outs and Pull-Ins\nConduct vehicle accident investigation\nInspects vehicles for damage and compliance with safety standards\nObserves driving skills and work habits of drivers in the field\nCoach employees based on onboard surveillance technology\nCan be assigned to operate a vehicle in an emergency\nAdditional responsibilities as required\nTraining\nProvides behind-the-wheel training for new operators and trainees\nConducts on-board evaluations and in service training to operators according to schedule and/or need\nProvides behind-the-wheel retraining as directed\nEvaluates new operator driving skills using appropriate checklists and evaluation forms.\nProvides appropriate feedback to new operators\nEnsures operators are fully trained prior to being released into revenue service\nServes as role model and mentor to new operators\nIdentifies retraining needs\nRecognizes and reports safe and unsafe acts / conditions to Management.\nProvides feedback to Safety manager, GM, Operations Manager, and other appropriate staff regarding training needs\nAssists training department in identifying additional or refresher training needs based on current
