CDL Class B preferred\nAbility to effectively decipher maps\nAbility to handle stress, including emergency situations\nUses good judgment in making decisions in emergency and routine situations\nEmail and Internet; Microsoft Office Applications Suite\nSkills:\nExcellent organization and multi-tasking skills \nDemonstrated excellent written and oral communications and organizational skills\nGood Judgement skills\nReasoning skills and Decision making\nKey Accountabilities:\nAssign work, vehicles and onboard equipment to operators and maintain check-out logs \nAssign operators in the event of operator absences, increased service volumes in order to minimize service disruptions as a result of traffic, vehicle malfunctions, operator problems and/or emergency situations. \nMaintain accurate logs for attendance \nMaintain communication with operators, providing information on customers, cancellations, and directional assistance where necessary \nMonitor operators and trip status, making adjustments and reassignments as necessary to ensure on time performance \nProvide assistance to operators in the event of emergency or vehicle malfunctions, communicating with operations, safety and maintenance staff where appropriate. \nReschedule trips as necessary in the event of vehicle malfunction, traffic, or emergency situations \nReconcile trip manifests by operators \nProvide assistance to passengers in using the service as well as when inquiring about individual trip status. \nDocument accurately and appropriately daily events related to service \nCollect any lost and found articles and catalog, attempt to contact appropriate passengers where possible \nMaintain a safe work area and a focus on safety to reduce the opportunity for injury to self or other employees. \nRadio checks all vehicles leaving the yard at all times \nEstablish and maintain headways for all online buses \nWill maintain “exceptions” and “incidents” log \nWill assist drivers with informational material as needed \nReport to supervisors and duty managers any drivers failing to meet duties online \nOther duties as assigned by immediate supervisor \nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of the job.
