Our Aberdeen site is seeking dedicated Abattoir Operatives to join our production team and contribute to our high standards of food safety and product quality.\nAs an Abattoir Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of meat products. You will be part of a collaborative team that values reliability, adaptability, and a passion for delivering quality food.\nKey responsibilities include:\nCarry out basic slaughter and carcass preparation tasks on the production line\nWork at a steady pace to keep up with line speed and meet daily targets\nMaintain high product quality and promptly report issues to the supervisor\nPrepare the production line and ensure equipment is ready for use\nConduct hygiene, safety, and pre-start checks\nAdhere to company SOPs, guidelines, and quality standards\nFollow knife safety and health & safety rules, including hygiene practices\nPerform other duties as required by management within competency\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications:\nAble to perform physically demanding work involving standing and moving throughout the day on a production line\nAble to lift up to 25 kg\nAble to work in a warm environment\nBasic conversational English skills\nHas the right to work in the United Kingdom\nAvailable to start work at 6:00am Monday-Friday, with finish time varying based on production volumes\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in a production-line or factory environment with pace and throughput targets\nAwareness of hygiene and food safety practices in a food production environment\nExperience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety rules in an operational environment\nBenefits\nPerformance Bonus- Opportunity to earn a bonus based on your performance and development.\nPay Grading system- offering the chance to increase your earnings as you advance in your role.\n 31 days annual leave per year (after probation).\nAnnual Holiday Purchase Scheme - Need a little more time off?
