This is a full time permanent position reporting to the Primary & Facilities Maintenance Manager. This position will be responsible for the smooth running of our state of the art facilities. Anything from Refrigeration, Boiler, Steam and Energy. You will work cross-functionally across different departments and contractors as well as optimise preventative maintenance schedules.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTo ensure supervision and safe operating procedures for visiting contractors, \nRespond promptly to facilities-related breakdowns to minimise production disruption\nAssist with basic projects such as equipment replacements, upgrades, or energy-saving initiatives.\nTo ensure all Compliance service and inspection schedules are completed and actions followed up on\nYou will Implement and Drive Continuous Improvement projects ( Self Driven )\nYou Work Closely with Operations improving the site assets and the refrigeration performance, availability, and efficiency,\nTo assist the Engineering Department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts.\nOptimisation of the CMMS (Piranha) system regarding asset identification and traceability,\nAssist in emergency breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient way on all Site Facilities equipment and assist across all site engineering issues when required,\nTo assist in the installation of new equipment to the site if required.\nRequirements\nElectrical/Mechanical qualification, HNC or time spent in a Multi-skilled apprenticeship\nServices back-ground / facilities experience ideally within Food manufacturing or high volume manufacturing environment\nCI experience and use of Lean Manufacturing techniques \nSignificant Trouble shooting and fault-finding diagnostics and resolution experience\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nDemonstrate team skills with a positive attitude and professional approach\nBenefits\nPension Scheme\nSubsidized Canteen\nFurther Education support -
