We have 5 Manufacturing Sites supported by shared services, with 1000 people supporting our vision to become a transformed, future proofed, profitable €0.5bn Food Business by 2030. \nWe're looking for an enthusiastic HR & Training Administrator to join our team in York and play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through to training, development, and day-to-day HR support.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to develop your HR career while making a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs our HR & Training Administrator, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support across both HR and Learning & Development activities, ensuring our people processes run smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver Operational Excellence\nProvide HR administration, including contracts, records, system updates, and reporting.\nMaintain accurate HR and training records, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.\nCoordinate mandatory training, including Health & Safety, Food Safety, and compliance programmes.\nDrive Continuous Improvement\nSupport improvements to HR and training processes.\nAssist with people initiatives, engagement activities, and development programmes.\nProvide accurate people data and reporting to support business decisions.\nChampion Learning & Development\nCoordinate training activities to support colleague development and operational excellence.\nPartner with managers to ensure employees are trained, competent, and successful in their roles.\nBe a Collaborative Team Player\nWork closely with HR, Operations, and managers to deliver a positive colleague experience.\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, inductions, and training schedules.\nBuild strong relationships as a visible, approachable point of contact across the site.\nRequirements\n1+ year experience in HR administration, training coordination or similar operational HR role (manufacturing experience advantageous).\nA HR, L&D or equivalent third level qualification - a CIPD qualification would be beneficial but not essential \nStrong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.\nStrong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.\nConfident with IT systems (HRIS, LMS, MS Office).\nUnderstanding of GDPR and HR compliance requirements.\nBenefits\nWhat can we offer you?\nCompany Pension\nFurther Education support\nDedicated L&D Team\nBike to Work Scheme -
