in this job?\nReporting to the Warehouse Manager the operative will partake in all aspects of the warehouse operation, with health & safety, communication, accuracy and efficiency of the operation being a priority. \nAssisting in the maintenance of inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and dispatching items in a timely manner.\nSupport the maintenance and organisation of the storage areas.\nAssist the Stock Controller in maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring proper stock rotation.\nParticipate in scheduled and ad-hoc stocktakes as required.\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.\nWear all required PPE in accordance with Kepak guidelines.\nWork collaboratively with the Coldstore team to ensure smooth operational flow.\nProvide flexibility regarding working hours to meet business needs.\nWorking in a cold environment \nUse Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) as part of daily duties.\nUse Workstations and Scanners for Picking Orders as part of daily duties, training provided.\nLoading and Unloading of Containers using Forklift.\nPutting away pallets delivered into racks using forklift.\nPicking orders with the use of forklift. \nShift work may be required.\nRequirements\nWhat we need from you?\nGood English communication skills, both written and verbal. \nEnthusiastic and motivated with a proactive, safety-focused mindset. \nDependable, with excellent timekeeping and reliability. \nAble to work independently using their own initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team environment. \nEfficient and able to perform manual tasks as required. \nWilling to learn, develop new skills, and adapt to changing business needs. \nStrong time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. \nPrevious experience in order picking within a warehouse environment is an advantage. \nExperience using Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.\nForklift driving experience
