You will work closely with experienced IT team members and receive guidance, training, and mentorship throughout the internship.\n*Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability Status *\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the onboarding and offboarding of employees by setting up laptops, workstations, peripherals, accounts, and basic system access\nProvide first-level technical support to employees for common hardware, software, networking, internet, and workstation issues\nAssist with installing, configuring, and updating software applications\nTriage, resolve, and document support requests through the IT ticketing system, Jira\nHelp maintain accurate IT documentation, guides, and process instructions\nSupport inventory management of IT equipment, software, and licenses\nAssist with routine system maintenance tasks such as backups and updates\nLearn and follow IT security best practices and company policies\nParticipate in team projects and assist with other IT-related tasks as assigned\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field\nExperience setting up laptops, workstations, peripherals, and user accounts\nExperience providing basic technical troubleshooting and support\nFamiliarity with networking, VPNs, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft enterprise software, including Microsoft 365\nExperience using a ticketing system to document and track support requests\nStrong willingness to learn and develop technical and professional skills\nGood organizational skills and attention to detail\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple tasks with guidance and support\nComfortable handling confidential information with professionalism\nAbility to work in an office environment\nAvailable for a full-time 4-month internship beginning January 2027\n Able to work on-site at Kepler’s Toronto office (24 Ward Street) five days per week\n Security requirement: The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability Status. Kepler will initiate and sponsor the screening process.
