Application Design & Development\nAnalyse business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nDesign, develop and enhance web, mobile or enterprise applications.\nCreate reusable, scalable and maintainable application components.\nDevelop APIs, microservices and system integrations where required.\nEnsure adherence to software development standards, architecture principles and best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews and technical design sessions.\n2. System Integration & API Development\nDevelop and maintain application integrations with internal and external systems.\nBuild and support RESTful APIs and service-oriented integrations.\nEnsure application interfaces are secure, reliable and scalable.\nSupport integration testing and troubleshooting activities.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, security and architecture teams during implementation.\nDevelopment references highlight enterprise software development, REST-based integrations, full-stack development, enterprise application platforms and cloud-native architectures.\n3. Database Development & Data Management\nDesign and develop database structures, queries, stored procedures and reports.\nEnsure data integrity, accuracy and performance optimisation.\nSupport database troubleshooting and performance tuning activities.\nWork closely with data teams on data migration and synchronization requirements.\nEnsure proper backup, recovery and security controls are implemented.\n4. Testing & Quality Assurance\nDevelop and execute unit testing, system testing and integration testing activities.\nSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution processes.\nEnsure applications meet quality, performance and security standards.\nAssist in release testing and deployment validation.\nPromote automated testing and quality assurance best practices.\n5. Application Support & Maintenance\nProvide Level 2 / Level 3 application support where required.\nTroubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.\nSupport change requests, enhancements and system upgrades.\nMonitor system performance and recommend improvement opportunities.\nMaintain system documentation and operational procedures.\nApplication support, system maintenance, production support and troubleshooting responsibilities are reflected across internal development references.\n6. DevOps & Cloud Deployment\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\nParticipate in cloud deployment and cloud-native application initiatives.\nCollaborate with DevOps teams on release automation and environment management.\nEnsure applications are designed with scalability, resilience and observability considerations.\nSupport monitoring and incident management activities.\nCloud-native development, DevSecOps, microservices, CI/CD and automated deployment practices are highlighted within internal application modernization initiatives.\n7.
