They need to know which company they are dealing with.\nMost company data is in CRMs, ERPs and third-party datasets. Records are duplicated, parent companies are missing, and addresses are outdated. This costs sales teams revenue and leaves operations and finance teams with avoidable risk and bad debt. Agents need a business identity layer they can trust.\nKernel is building that layer: the business registry for agents. Every business gets a permanent KERN ID, along with the context an agent needs to act on it. Ops, data and revenue teams at Gong, Legora, Mistral, Canva and Checkout already use Kernel in their own systems, and we expect agents to use it far more.\nWe have raised $14M from top VCs and operators at Plaid, OpenAI, Slack and others, and we are growing 5x YoY.\nThe role\nYou’ll be Kernel’s Product Marketing Lead, building product marketing from the ground up. There’s a lot of potential here, and you’ll set the direction.\nYour mission: make Kernel easy to understand and easy to buy, for customers and for the partners who sell it.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn positioning and narrative: for customers we sell to directly and for our partners.\n\nWrite the technical story: work with Anders, Marcus, and Zak on product positioning and technical documentation.\n\nOwn announcements and launches: plan each one and get it out.\n\nEquip sales: work with the sales team on messaging, demos and battlecards.\n\nBuild our social proof: case studies and customer references.\n\n5% “other stuff”: events, the website and anything else that helps the business.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\nMost important is product marketing experience at a high-growth startup and examples of work that had a real impact on the business.\n\nYou have written technical content before.\n\nYou have led large projects such as a launch or a repositioning, and set the plan yourself.\n\nYou work fast and closely with sales and the founders.\n\nYou have taste and you execute well.\n\nExperience with video content is a plus but not a requirement.\n\nThis role may not be for you if you:\nNeed other product marketers around you to work best.\n\nPrefer to be handed a brief than to write one.\n\nNeed perfect clarity before starting.\n\nPrefer long cycles and big “reveals.”\n\nWant fully remote work (we move faster in-person).\n\nWhat We Offer\nWe will do our best to offer you a ride of a lifetime.
