Where you'll work
Our Renfrew, Ontario site is recruiting for an Assistant Lead Operator to support all areas of production, ensuring that both equipment and facilities are maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
Schedule
This is a permanent full-time position operating on a continuous 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including both day and night shifts.
What you'll do
The Assistant Lead Operator is responsible for operating mobile equipment, performing and leading preventative maintenance activities, contributing to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining consistent production quality and accurate work records, and providing leadership and support as required to ensure efficient and safe operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum grade 12 education
- Experience leading a shift in a continuous production environment would be an asset
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to perform physical labour or work at heights
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Able to comprehend and follow safety procedures
- Work well in a team environment and able to communicate well with peers and supervisors via verbal and written communication
- Strong work ethic
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $25 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
