Ensure wastewater is treated effectively and discharge compliance with environmental regulation. The role also involves supervising technicians, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining records and supporting continues improvement initiatives.\nKey responsibilities\nAct as Competent Person (CP) or trainee for IETS Operation as required by DOE Malaysia.\nOperate and monitor the industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS)\nEnsure treated effluent complies with DOE final discharge standards (Standard B).\nPerform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, blowers, dosing system and related equipment.\nTroubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.\nSupervise and monitor outsourced technicians to ensure compliance with company and safety requirements.\nCoordinate with vendors to implement plant and site safety improvements.\nMaintain accurate performance monitoring, operation logs and maintenance activities.\nEnhanced treatment efficiency and reduce operating costs by recommend process improvements.\nParticipate in emergency responses activities related to wastewater treatment systems.\nEnsure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Policies.\nSupport the utilities section with the Chillers, Air Compressors, Boilers, UV Light, Hot and Ambient Water supply and operations.\nQualifications and skills\nPossess a valid CePIETSO (BP) and/or CePIETAO (PCP) certification for WWTP competency.\n\nMinimum Diploma in an Engineering discipline, with a Degree being an added advantage.\n\nAt least 3 years of relevant professional experience.\n\nPrior experience within the food manufacturing industry is
