This role is focused on maximizing equipment availability and ensuring all machinery remains fit for purpose while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will lead efforts to identify root causes of equipment failures, implement permanent corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that extend asset life and deliver optimal value.\nKey responsibilities\nProvide first line leadership for the plant maintenance team responsible for asset care.\nDrive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, regulatory standards and productivity goal attainment.\nManage maintenance labour and spares part budget.\nInitiate cost savings measures.\nEnsure that plant maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.\nEnsure all maintenance related works align with corporate engineering standards including sanitary design, ergonomics, employee safety and food safety requirements.\nContinuously apply sound mechanical and electrical solutions to resolve obstacles to plant efficiencies and to drive continuous improvement.\nPerform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime / inefficient operational issues.\nManage maintenance schedule to efficient execution.\nWorks with the production team on maintenance planning and execution.\nMonitor crew performance and provide feedback.\nEnsure work order compliance including predictive and preventive maintenance.\nQualifications and skills\nEngineering degree or technical school training preferred.\n5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nGood understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.\nExcellent troubleshooting ability.\nExperience with predictive/preventive maintenance programs.\nExperience implementing predictive/preventive maintenance programs.\nExperience with TPM and/or Lean initiatives.\nExperience implementing TPM and/or Lean initiatives.\nExperience with SAP PM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).\nStrong computer application skills, network and PC business application software.\nSupervisory / Management experience.\nCompensation Data\nThe pay range for this position is $70,100 - $109,050 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
