People may not realize we're more than just great taste when it comes to food and beverage products - we truly are committed to nutrition and sciences as well!\nKey responsibilities\nAbout the Role:\nUnder the direction of the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will provide leadership and direction to the plant maintenance department responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations. Responsible for site asset care and process optimization.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:\nPerform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime / inefficient operational issues\nEnsure that all manufacturing/facility systems are properly resourced and that all resources are efficiently utilized.\nManage maintenance department costs.\nEnsure that appropriate inventory levels for standard replacement parts are maintained.\nManage the buildings and grounds such that good manufacturing practices (GMP) are adhered to and a professional appearance is maintained.\nDrive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment.\nCollaborate directly with Human Resources/Ask HR to ensure employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved.\nEffectively communicate results and action plans\nInitiate cost saving measures.\nResponsible for working with Asset life cycle management.\nProvide leadership in implementing/maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\nPerform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime/inefficient operational issues.\nProvide technical support for efficient troubleshooting.\nEffectively communicate results and action plans to appropriate employees and managers.\nOther duties as assigned.\nShift - Primary day shift however the Maintenance Supervisor does supervise employees who work afternoon and night shifts, thus needs to ensure that they are connecting with them on a regular basis as well\nQualifications and skills\nQualifications and skills\nKey competencies:\nPreventive Maintenance programs\nCMMS, SAP experience strongly preferred\nGMP\nBudget tracking, reporting and control\nLean / Continuous Improvement a plus.\nEducation/Qualifications:\nDegree in Industrial Management or other technical discipline strongly preferred. Consideration will be given to equivalent training and experience.\nExperience:\nFood industry knowledge required.\n5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required\n3+ years Supervisory / Management experience strongly preferred\nExperience implementing/improving Preventative Maintenance programs\nStrong computer application skills, network, and PC business application software\nStrong mechanical and electrical skills\nSAP or other CMMS skills are a strong plus\nBasic financial skills and understanding\nExperience with formal Asset Reliability programs a strong plus, especially Predictive Maintenance\nThe pay range for this position is $76,000 - $103,000 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
